Skopje, 21 July 2026 (MIA) - The number of newly examined patients presenting with gastroenterocolitis symptoms in Gostivar continues to decline, according to data collected from Gostivar’s public health institutions on Monday.

In a press release on Tuesday, the Health Ministry said Gostivar’s General Hospital recorded 111 new examinations at the infectious diseases department, 65 at the pediatric department, and 7 at the emergency department.

The Gostivar Health Center registered 110 examinations, as well as 25 ambulance calls.

“The total number of patients examined at the hospital on Monday fell by 38 percent. On July 19 the hospital registered 289 examinations, compared to 183 on Monday. At the same time, the number of examinations at the health center continues to fall as well – 315 patients on July 18, 275 on July 19, and 110 on July 20,” Health Minister Sasho Klekovski said.
