K-Danse performance at MNT to mark start of Francophonie Month

Skopje, 10 March 2026 (MIA) — Organized by the French Institute and Dance Fest, a dance performance by the French group K-Danse at 8 pm at the Macedonian National Theater will mark the start of Francophonie Month.

Titled "F_AI_LLE," the K-Danse performance combines contemporary dance with an interactive installation to explore how the human body interacts with artificial intelligence, organizers said.

The French Institute described the work as a look at the relationship between people, technology and creativity.

In addition to the performance, K-Danse's artistic director and choreographer Jean-Marc Matos will lead workshops from March 9-13 in Skopje, Bitola, Kumanovo and Tetovo. The sessions are open to dancers, performers and French language teachers.

The project is part of the French Institute's Digital Arts program, which aims to promote French creativity and collaborations between artists from France and North Macedonia, organizers said.
