Bitola, 6 August 2026 (MIA) -- Interart, a chamber music trio consisting of Bitola-born flutists Aleksandar Stefanovski and Emilija Ristevska Stefanovska and pianist Tatjana Bozhinovska, will give a recital at the Officers Hall in Bitola at 8 pm.

The program features Gary Schocker's Three Dances for two flutes and piano, Marko Videnovikj's "Ivino," Andrey Rubtsov's "Marbella Fantasy" for flute, oboe and piano as well as Jean-Michel Damase's Trio for flute, oboe and piano. Admission is free.

The recital is organized by the Bitola Cultural and Information Center as part of the city's Bitfest summer festival.

Formed in 1997 in Germany, Interart has recorded three albums of chamber music. The trio has performed at Ohrid Summer festival, Skopje Summer festival, Bitola's Interfest and Skopje's Golden Lyre chamber music festival. They have given recitals in Croatia, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Turkiye and the United States.

The trio won a Diplome d'honneur at Torneo Internazionale di Musica competition in Paris, France, in 2006, and subsequently performed in Rome, Italy. The same year, they also received the City of Bitola's November 4 Award, which honors individuals and organizations for exceptional achievements advancing the local community. mr/
