Skopje, 28 November 2025 (MIA) - The price of household heating will go up as of December 1 by an average of 5.9 percent, the President of the Energy Regulatory Committee (ERC), Marko Bislimoski, said Friday. 

For ESM consumers the price of heating will be increased by an average of 5.9 percent, by 7.6 percent for the consumers of ESM Energetika, and by 7.7 percent for the consumers of the Skopje-Sever - Energy Ecolink. 

"As of December 1, the average bill will increase by about Mden 130, i.e. a bill of Mden 2,200 will amount to Mden 2,330," ERC President Bislimoski noted.

He stressed that long-term strategic planning and serious modernization of the heating network are needed to reduce defects, improve the quality of supply and enable network expansion.

According to the ERC, around 65,000 households are currently being supplied with heating energy.
