Skopje, 5 April 2026 (MIA) — Parliament Speaker Afrim Gashi has offered his best wishes in a message to Catholic believers celebrating Easter.

Gashi said the holiday was a reminder of hope, love, peace and spiritual renewal.

"In days when we are reminded of the importance of mutual respect, solidarity and kindness, I am sending my sincere wishes that these holiday days be filled with health, tranquility, joy and prosperity," he said.

The parliament speaker added that the Easter holidays should encourage trust, understanding and unity among citizens as key values for building a better future. mr/
