Skopje, 26 September 2025 (MIA) -- Four contemporary Greek poets will read their poems at a book launch Pro-Za Balkans festival is hosting Friday evening for a new anthology of Greek poetry in Macedonian translation.
Titled "30 Contemporary Greek Authors," the anthology consists of 30 poems exploring "the fact that people everywhere love each other and hate each other in the same way," the publisher said.
At the launch, Greek poets Chrysanthi Iakovou, Eftychia Katellanaki, Manos Mavromoustakakis and Nikos Vlachakis will read their poems and share insights into contemporary Greek poetry.
The poems were translated into Macedonian by Petar Andonovski. The event will be moderated by Borche Nikolovski. Aleksandar Prokopiev and Dejan Trajkoski will speak about the book.
The book was published as a collaboration between the Greek publisher Vakhikon Editions and Prozart Media with the support of the Greek Embassy. mr/
