Skopje, 6 February 2026 (MIA) - We have completed another significant visit that unlocks new possibilities for strengthening the political, economic and trade cooperation with the United Arab Emirates. We continue to push on with a clear focus on results, which benefits will be felt by the citizens, says Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Timcho Mucunski.

FM Mucunski says in a Facebook video that a memorandum of understanding has been signed with the UAE, with a number of meetings held as part of the delegation led by President Gordana Siljanovska Davkova.

"Today, we are completing another important and successful visit. We met with the President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Foreign Minister Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, we signed a memorandum of understanding for development, modernization and digitalization of the Government and the state administration. Alongside President Siljanovska Davkova, we also met with the Presidents of Estonia and Switzerland, representatives of international organizations and the Macedonian diaspora in UAE. This visit reaffirms the potential for enhancement of the bilateral cooperation in many areas. We continue to push on with a clear focus on results, which benefits will be felt by the citizens," says Mucunski in the video.
