Skopje, 2 March 2026 (MIA) – Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Timcho Mucunski yesterday had a phone call with Qatar’s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Sultan bin Saad Al Muraikhi.

“Minister Mucunski condemned the Iranian attack targeting the territory of Qatar as a serious violation of international law, including the principles of sovereignty and territorial integrity. He expressed firm solidarity and full support to Qatar, reaffirming support for measures taken to safeguard the country’s security and stability,” the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade said.

Minister Mucunski, it added, said that in times of rising regional tensions, restraint, responsibility and stronger diplomatic engagement are essential to prevent further escalation and preserve peace and stability in the region.
