Skopje, 10 June 2026 (MIA) - Ministry of Finance has transferred Mden 131 million from the central budget to the Development Bank, earmarked for projects implemented by domestic companies.

As reported by the Ministry of Finance, the transfer carried out at the end of last month means that a total of Mden 14.1 billion, or €230 million, has been placed in the domestic economy for investment projects by companies.

“This represents 92% utilisation of the credit line secured by the government from the Hungary’s Export-Import Bank to support the domestic economy. Companies can access the funds via commercial banks under favourbale terms: 1.95% annual interest, up to 15 years repayment, and a grace period of up to 3 years, aimed at financing private investment and boosting economic growth,” the Ministry of Finance said in a press release.

The total state support for domestic companies planned in the budget is €250 million, while the overall investment cycle is estimated to be around €300 million.
