Skopje, 22 June 2025 (MIA) – Regarding livestock farming subsides, more than 4,100 livestock farmers are covered and about 350 million denars have been paid, Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski said Sunday. 9 billion denars have been paid since the beginning of the year, including debts from 2021 until 2024. Farmers remain our main priority, he insisted.
“Recently, livestock farming subsidies were paid. A total of 9 billion denars have been paid since the start of the year, which also includes debts from 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024. We want to eliminate all debts,” Mickoski told reporters after putting into service the Ponov Most-Bogdanci reconstructed regional road.
The first four months of the year, he said, recorded exceptional results in the export of goods.
“I’m satisfied with the historically highest purchase price for spring cabbage, and now I hear that the purchase price for tomatoes is also good. Overall, I can say that we are not yet fully satisfied, but we are moving in that direction. Farmers remain the main priority of this government,” Mickoski concluded.
