Kochani, 3 July 2025 (MIA) - Citizens’ association “16 March 2025 - Kochani” founded by the families of the victims of the deadly fire at the “Pulse” nightclub has sent a letter to state and judicial institutions outlining several requests.
In a letter addressed to Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski, Parliament Speaker Afrim Gashi and President Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova, the families are requesting the legally mandated financial assistance to be paid out, as well as institutional support.
“We have submitted a request to the Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office in Kochani to facilitate a meeting with representatives of forensic medicine in Skopje. We also request that complete video and audio recordings be made of the entire court proceedings,” the association said.
The association also announced the holding of the 12th protest march for the victims on Saturday, as an expression of their dissatisfaction with the slow response of the institutions and the drawn-out judicial proceedings against the suspects in the case.
