Skopje, 24 February 2026 (MIA) — The National Chamber Orchestra of Bitola will officially open its 2026-27 concert season with "An Evening of Romantic Serenades" concert at the Officers Hall at 8 pm.

According to organizers, the concert will be "an emotional musical experience." The orchestra will be conducted by Vladimir Dimovski. The concert program consists of works by Antonín Dvořák, Josef Suk and Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky. Admission is free. 

In addition, the orchestra will take part in a concert dedicated to the memory of Toshe Proeski, titled "Forever in Our Hearts." The concert will be held in the city for the eighth time, despite the lack of support from the Ministry of Culture and Tourism this year, organizers said.

"With such a start to the season, the National Chamber Orchestra of Bitola has once again confirmed its mission to continuously create a quality music program and to offer the audience important cultural events, regardless of institutional challenges," they said. mr/
