Earthquake felt in Tetovo, epicenter in Kosovo

Skopje, 9 February 2026 (MIA) - Seismological Observatory at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics in Skopje, recorded an earthquake late Sunday at 11:09 pm. Its epicenter was located in Kosovo, about 46 km northwest of Skopje, with a local Richter magnitude of ML 3.0.
The observatory reports that the earthquake was felt in Tetovo and nearby areas, with an intensity of III on the European Macroseismic Scale.
