Skopje, 5 September 2025 (MIA) - The leader of the ZNAM Movement, Maksim Dimitrievski, will be seeking reelection as Kumanovo mayor at the October local elections. ZNAM also put forward Miroslav Labudovikj, current Deputy Minister of Energy, Mining, and Mineral Resources, as its candidate for mayor of the Municipality of Centar.

At a session on Friday evening, ZNAM’s executive and central boards decided that the party will run independently in the coming local elections with candidates for council members in over 50 municipalities.

“The ZNAM Movement is launching a new chapter in its political functioning. Our representatives in the local self-government have shown how municipalities should really be governed,” ZNAM spokesperson Nikola Memov said.
