Skopje, 20 June 2025 (MIA) – Minister of Finance Gordana Dimitrieska Kochoska is paying a working visit to Montenegro Friday through June 23, to attend an annual meeting of the Centre of Excellence in Finance (CEF) Governing Board. 

Montenegro's Ministry of Finance currently chairs the CEF Governing Board and during the meeting, North Macedonia's Ministry of Finance will take over for a period of one year. 

As part of the visit, Minister Dimitrieska Kochoska will meet with her Montenegrin counterpart Novica Vuković, for talks on strengthening bilateral cooperation in public finance. 

CEF is a regional organization focused on supporting capacity development in public finance management, tax policy and administration, as well as central banking through training, seminars, and programs with practical application. Macedonia has a long-term cooperation with the institution, particularly within the Academy of Public Finance, successfully implementing programs for education and improvement of the public sector.
