Deputy PM Sali meets Irish Ambassador Ward
- Deputy PM and Minister of European Affairs Bekim Sali met Thursday with Irish Ambassador Brendan Ward, reaffirming the friendly relations between the Republic of North Macedonia and the Republic of Ireland, and the mutual commitment for their enhancement.
Skopje, 19 February 2026 (MIA) - Deputy PM and Minister of European Affairs Bekim Sali met Thursday with Irish Ambassador Brendan Ward, reaffirming the friendly relations between the Republic of North Macedonia and the Republic of Ireland, and the mutual commitment for their enhancement.
Deputy PM Sali thanked Ambassador Ward for Irenad's principled support to the enlargement policy and the country's European prospects, the Deputy PM's Office said in a press release.

Sali highlighted the Government's strong commitment to the reform agenda, primarily in the fields of rule of law, public administration and strengthening of democratic institutions.
Interlocutors also discussed possibilities for enhancement of bilateral cooperation, through EU twinning and TAIEX projects, as well as by way of direct partnership, reads the press release.
