Deputy PM Nikoloski attends Hungary National Day observances in Budapest
- Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport Aleksandar Nikoloski, at the invitation of Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, is attending Hungary’s National Day, celebrated in honor of St. Stephen, the founder of the Hungarian state and Christianity in Hungary, the Ministry of Transport said on Wednesday afternoon.

Skopje, 20 August 2025 (MIA) - Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport Aleksandar Nikoloski, at the invitation of Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, is attending Hungary’s National Day, celebrated in honor of St. Stephen, the founder of the Hungarian state and Christianity in Hungary, the Ministry of Transport said on Wednesday afternoon.
“In addition to attending the National Day celebration, several meetings are planned with senior officials of the Hungarian Government, several ministers and potential investments. The meetings are expected to discuss the progress of projects in Macedonia as well as future enhanced economic cooperation between the two countries,” the Ministry stressed.
The press release added that the Deputy PM’s visit to Hungary serves “as yet another confirmation of the excellent friendship and cooperation between our country and Hungary”.
