Damjan Pejchinoski to give guitar concert in Ohrid

Ohrid, 31 July 2025 (MIA) – Macedonian guitarist Damjan Pejchinoski and his band will give a concert at Ohrid's Grigor Prlichev Culture Center at 9 pm.

 

Pejchinoski will be joined on stage by Dejan Milosavljevikj on drums, Zoran Jagoridovski on percussion, Goran Geshovski on bass guitar and Gordan Spasovski on piano.

 

The concert of jazz fusion, blues and rock music is part of Ohrid Summer Festival's programming.

 

Damjan Pejchinoski (b. 1984, Ohrid) began learning the guitar at the age of 14. He has a bachelor's degree from the Pancho Vladigerov National Music Academy in Sofia, Bulgaria, and a master's degree in jazz from Sofia's New Bulgarian University, where he went on a full scholarship.

 

In 2009, he made the final of Guitar Idol, the international guitar competition held in London. In 2010, together with Gjoko Taneski and rapper Billy Zver, he represented Macedonia at the Eurovision song contest in Oslo.

 

Pejchinoski has won several international awards and performed in Australia, China, the USA, Bulgaria, Romania, Serbia, Kosovo, Hungary and Croatia. He is a brand ambassador for Strandberg, a maker of ergonomic and headless electric guitars. mr/
