Complete ban on movement in forests from July 1 to August 31
- A complete ban on the movement in forests and forest areas managed by the National Forests public enterprise is set to be introduced on July 1 and remain in place until August 31. The ban is being implemented due to the increased risk of forest fires. Movement will only be allowed with a permit issued by National Forests.

Skopje, 26 June 2025 (MIA) - A complete ban on the movement in forests and forest areas managed by the National Forests public enterprise is set to be introduced on July 1 and remain in place until August 31. The ban is being implemented due to the increased risk of forest fires. Movement will only be allowed with a permit issued by National Forests.
Failure to comply with the ban will be sanctioned with fines ranging from EUR 1500 to EUR 2000.
The ban does not apply to employees at the National Forest, as well as employees at the Ministry of Interior Ministry of Defense; Forest Police; Crisis Management Center; Protection and Rescue Directorate; State Inspectorate for Forestry and Hunting; entities engaged in forestry activities such as logging, delivery, and transport of wood and wood assortments; game wardens and officials from hunting grounds; as well as those who possess permits issued by National Forests.
The ban is being enforced by employees at the National Forest, the Forest Police, the Interior Ministry, and the State Inspectorate for Forestry and Hunting.
