Skopje, 2 September 2025 (MIA) - The Crisis Management Center said it registered a total of 18 wildfires by 8 a.m. on Tuesday. Two of them are active, three have been contained while 13 have been fully extinguished.

Active fires are burning near the villages Crnilishte and Dolgaec in the Municipality of Dolneni, and the village of Nikushtak in the Municipality of Lipkovo.

Fires on Kozhuf Mountain, Jasen and near Vardarishte, as well as in the municipalities of Gevgelija, Makedonski Brod, and Gazi Baba have been contained.

Fires have been put out in the municipalities of Arachinovo, Valandovo, Delchevo, Ilinden, Kavadarci, Kumanovo, Lipkovo, Radovish, Sveti Nikole, Cheshinovo Obleshevo, and Struga (3).
