Skopje, 3 September 2025 (MIA) - The Crisis Management Center (CMC) said it registered a total of 17 wildfires by 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Two of them are still active, four have been contained while 11 have been extinguished.

Active wildfires are burning near the villages of Ropotovo and Rilevo in the Municipality of Dolneni, and the village of Nikushtak in the Municipality of Lipkovo.

Fires near the villages of Dolgaec and Strovija in the Municipality of Dolneni, near the Vardarishte landfill in the Municipality of Gazi Baba, on Kozhuf Mountain in the Municipality of Gevgelija, and in Jasen in the Municipality of Makedonski Brod have been contained.
