Skopje, 18 August 2025 (MIA) – Eight wildfires were registered across the country until noon. Of those, three fires are active, one has been contained and the rest have been fully extinguished, the Crisis Management Center (CMC) said Monday. 

Wildfires are burning in the municipalities of Makedonski Brod, Studenichani and Lipkovo. 

Mixed forest is burning at the Jasen National Park. Mixed forest and low vegetation have burned in the territory of the villages of Drachevica and Cvetovo. Pine forest is burning in the area of the village of Lojane.

A fire has been contained on the territory of the municipality of Jegunovce, between the villages of Rogachevo, Jazhince and Dolno Orashje, where the low-stemmed mixed forest has been affected.

Fires in the municipalities of Butel, Struga, Chashka and Kumanovo have been put out.
