Skopje, 21 September 2025 (MIA) - The Crisis Management Center (CMC) said it registered a total of eight wildfires across the country by 12 pm on Sunday. Of these, three are active in Gevgelija on Kozhuf mountain near the village of Petrovo, in the village of Dzepchishte and near the Krushevo village of Sveto Mitrani.

Fires have been contained in Trubarevo, Gazi Baba, in the Skopje village of Viniche in the Muratica area, and in Batinci, Studenichani, the CMC reported.

Fires at the Bali landfill in Kochani and the Ostrec landfill in Delchevo have been extinguished.
