Skopje, 29 July 2026 (MIA) - The Crisis Management Center (CMC) said there are no active wildfires nationwide as of 7 am on Wednesday, after 16 wildfires in 10 municipalities have been extinguished.  

According to the CMC, two fires have been extinguished in the Municipality of Prilep. 

Fires in the village of Buchim in the Municipality of Radovish, as well as in the municipalities of Gostivar and Kumanovo have also been extinguished. 

Another three fires have been extinguished in the Municipality of Saraj, one in the Municipality of Dolneni, and another one in the Municipality of Valandovo. 

Firefighters also put out wildfires in the Municipality of Veles, along the Skopje-Veles road, as well as in the Municipality of Tetovo, in the Municipality of Gazi Baba and in the Municipality of Bitola.
