Skopje, 25 September 2025 (MIA) - The Crisis Management Center recorded a total of 22 wildfires across the country by 8 p.m. Thursday. Five are still active, three have been put under control, while fourteen have been extinguished.

Active fires are burning in the villages of Malino, Tanushevci and Lukare in the Municipality of Chucher Sandevo and Lipkovo; in the village of Dolgaec in the Municipality of Dolneni; in the village of Davidovo in the Municipality of Gevgelija; the Osrec landfill in the Municipality of Delchevo; and in the village of Lubodrag in the Municipality of Kumanovo. 

The fires in the village of Dabnica in the Municipality of Prilep, on Kozhuf Mountain in the Municipality of Gevgelija, and near the villages of Malchishte and Osinchani in the Municipality of Studenichani have been put under control.

Fires have been extinguished in the municipalities of Butel 1, Butel 2, Chair, Makedonski Brod, Shtip, Demir Hisar, Arachinovo, Petrovec, Bitola, Krivogashtani, Kichevo 1, Kichevo 2, Kichevo 3, and Tetovo.
