Skopje, 16 June 2025 (MIA) - The president of the centre for micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) at the Economic Chamber, Gabriela Kulebanova, stated Monday that it is not yet possible to say if the conflict between Israel and Iran will cause a price shock.
Concerning the new measures announced by the Prime Minister, Kulebanova reiterated the business sector’s stance that market operating conditions must be respected.
“We have consecutive crises. The wars are ongoing, but for now, we cannot specifically say there will be a price shock; we will wait as this is only the beginning. We are a small economy, and all global shocks and happenings are reflected here. Regarding the measures announced by the Prime Minister, there is nothing concrete. We, as the business sector, always strive to minimize the influence and jurisdiction of state institutions,” Kulebanova told reporters before the presentation of the digital platform "ONE STOP DIGITAL" for micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises.
Kulebanova explained that the tool is a platform to be launched as a mobile app, enabling the targeted companies to access all necessary information, while also allowing them to submit proposals, suggestions, and ask questions.
“This is a very important tool for this kind of companies. Through it, we will communicate and inform our members quickly, simply, and easily about legal changes, for example, and about everything else that concerns them. Because the communication is interactive, they will be able to express their everyday needs and difficulties. Micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises play a vital role in rapid economic growth and development, providing innovative solutions, and their backing is essential,” Kulebanova said.
The digital platform with a mobile app was developed with the support of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), aiming to continue the economic transition of sustainable small and medium-sized enterprises and to develop a sustainable infrastructure for business advisory services.
