Valandovo, 8 May 2025 (MIA) — Macedonian writer Tome Arsovski's comedy "Beauty Walks Alone," adapted and directed by writer and cultural worker Stanka Bajlozova-Barlamova as part of Valandovo's May 25 Cultural Center's cultural programming, will be performed by local elementary and high school students Thursday evening, MIA's Strumica correspondent reports.
Bajlozova-Barlamova said the play was considerably different than the original "but at the same time well adapted to the number of actors and the acting abilities of the children as well as the entire ambience that will surround us this evening."
"This is a comedy we expect will truly make the Valandovo audience laugh," she told MIA's correspondent.
The "Beauty Walks Alone" cast consists of eight actors. Rehearsals for the play were held for some months, Bajlozova-Barlamova said.
The tickets have been on sale since last Monday. The play will be performed at the 676-seat Janko Uzunov festival hall. mr/
