Skopje, 13 August 2026 (MIA) - The Chief Operating Officer of TV Alsat-M, Lirim Hajredini, was found dead on Thursday morning in front of a building near Mavrovka mall in Skopje.

“Today, at around 09:25, the Skopje police was notified that an injured person was found in front of a building on Krste Misirkov Boulevard in Skopje. Police officers from the Bit Pazar Police Station went to the scene and confirmed that the person is L.H. (38) from Skopje, who succumbed to his injuries,” the Interior Ministry said in a press release.

The Ministry said a public prosecutor has been notified, and an investigation is underway. The body will be handed over for an autopsy to determine the cause and circumstances of death.

Hajredini served as Chief Operating Officer of TV Alsat-M for more than 16 years. Before holding this post, he also worked at the Macedonian Center for International Cooperation.
