Skopje, 12 July 2020 (MIA) – The independent parliamentary group of VMRO-DPMNE condemned Sunday the leaked conversations secretly taped at a meeting with the VMRO-DPMNE leader in the office of a lawmaker in Parliament.
The MPs urge the competent institutions to investigate who, how and why the conversations were tapped.
In a statement, they say only snippets of the conversations, lasting several seconds, were posted on YouTube, adding the meeting with Hristijan Mickoski lasted longer.
Earlier today, audio conversations were posted on a YouTube channel, in which Mickoski allegedly can be heard having secret meetings with the eight MPs, who were ousted from the opposition party.
In the conversations, he can be heard persuading them not to endorse the Public Prosecution Law.
