Washington, 17 July 2026 (MIA) – Politically motivated terrorism must not remain a blind spot in our common security architecture. Modern threats require coordinated response, strong institutions, reinforced partnerships and fully abiding by the rule of law, Foreign Minister Timcho Mucunski wrote in a Facebook post, who is in Washington to attend a ministerial conference focusing on the threats of political terrorism, hosted by U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

“Together with top officials from more than 60 countries, we discussed ways to strengthen international cooperation and institutional preparedness to address new security challenges. The event is an important opportunity to enhance the cooperation with the United States and with other international partners by more efficiently sharing security and operational information and a coordinated approach,” Mucunski wrote.
