Skopje, 3 June 2025 (MIA) — The Croatian folk dance ensemble Lado will give a concert Tuesday at the National Opera and Ballet featuring traditional folk songs and dances from different regions of Croatia and other places where Croats live, according to organizers.

"Through their energetic performance of folk dances, various styles of traditional singing and music practice, instruments, dialects and vividly colorful traditional attire, Lado will showcase the rich cultural heritage of music, songs and dances defining the authentic folk art style Lado has nurtured and developed for 76 years," organizers said.

The concert of the Croatian folk dance ensemble will include a guest performance by the Macedonian folk dance ensemble Tanec.

Lado's concert in Skopje was made possible with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism together with the Croatian Ministry of Culture and Media and the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Croatia. mr/
