Tel Aviv, 13 June 2025 (dpa/MIA) - Iran has sent more than 100 drones towards Israel in recent hours, Israeli military spokesman Effie Defrin said on Friday.

Defrin added that the military and the country's air defence systems and are actively working to intercept the incoming drones.

He also said the Israeli military earlier deployed around 200 fighter jets in its overnight strikes on Iran, targeting more than 100 sites.

The operation involved the use of 330 different types of munitions, Defrin said.
