Gevgelija, 31 August 2026 (MIA) -- Gevgelija's Goce Delchev Library has published an English-language travel guide to Gevgelija showcasing the natural beauty and cultural landmarks of the city and the region.

Titled "Gevgelija Unveiled: A First-Time Visitor’s Handbook," the guide aims to provide foreign visitors with information on Gevgelija's cultural and natural heritage and tradition, the publisher said.

The guide contains an overview of local archaeological sites and offers insight into local spiritual life througout the centuries. It also covers local cuisine and current events. 

In addition, the guide provides details on local sports clubs and cultural associations as well as brief biographies of notable historical figures from the Gevgelija region. 

The 44-page book features 24 color photos by Dimitar Novakov. Stefan Markovski wrote the words, edited by Vasil Tocinovski. Andonija Icheva designed the cover. mr/
