FM Mucunski, Bulgarian counterpart Petrova in phone call over embassy cars' incident

Skopje, 15 June 2026 (MIA) - Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Timcho Mucunski held Monday a phone call with Bulgarian counterpart Velislava Petrova-Chamova, during which he strongly condemned the indicent that took place earlier today, when vehicles of the Skopje-based Bulgarian Embassy were set on fire.
Mucunski briefed Petrova-Chamova that competent institutions are already taking measures to establish all circumstances and bring perpetrators to justice, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade said in a press release.
The FM said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade is providing full support to institutions for a swift, efficient, and transparent investigation towards identifying the perpetrators and their sanctioning.
