Prilep, 23 August 2026 (MIA) - Macedonian musician Dragan Dautovski will give a concert at the Vrbjanska Chuka archaeological site on Sunday. The event includes a brief talk on how the Neolithic settlement grew from early times and across the Middle Ages.
Starting at 6:30 pm, the concert is part of a multi-year tradition that marks the close of research at the Vrbjanska Chuka site, said the organizers.
"This brings cultural heritage closer to a wider audience. In addition, it gives this Neolithic settlement a new context, turning it into an intimate concert setting. No musician matches this moment better than Dragan Dautovski, breathing life into Vrbjanska Chuka through his masterful performance on the Neolithic globular flute, transporting us to the world of prehistory," reads a press release by the Center for Prehistoric Research which is organizing the event alongside the Prilep Jazz Weekend and the Institute and Museum - Prilep.
