Gostivar, 14 august 2026 (MIA) - Protection and Rescue Directorate (PRD) Director Stojanche Angelov urged on Friday for proper management of the water supply system in the future, whereas the investigation to identify the culprits in the Gostivar water incident.

Angelov told a press conference of the Crisis HQ that the Gostivar’s tap water is safe to drink as of Friday.

"As of now, the crisis in Gostivar is over. However, I hope for proper management in the future, because it is a fact that developments around the water supply system were unacceptable. The Public Prosecutor's Office and the courts will deal with this and identify the culprits," said Angelov.
