Constitutional Court judge Goce Naumovski resigns

Skopje, 16 July 2026 (MIA) - Constitutional judge Goce Naumovski has resigned his post. In a press release Thursday, the Constitutional Court said Naumovski did not a deliver an official note of his resignation to the Court, but the Court’s President, Darko Kostadinovski, received confirmation in a phone call with Parliament Speaker Afrim Gashi.
“The Court did not receive an official note of his resignation from judge Goce Naumovski. The judge was absent from today’s session. An official confirmation has not arrived from Parliament either. President Kostadinovski only received confirmation of the resignation during a phone call with the Speaker of Parliament, Afrim Gashi,” the Constitutional Court said.
Naumovski was elected as a constitutional judge by Parliament on February 18, with 63 MPs voting in favor, seven against, and no abstentions.
