The goal of “Mountain Biking Heaven,” according to Deputy Minister Carovska’s PR team, is to provide unique adventure travel opportunities.
These will be made possible through repairing and waymarking new mountain biking trails, renovating the Osogovo mountain hut, and introducing other services to cater to this kind of adventure travel.
After overseeing ongoing work on the Osogovo project, financed by the EU in the amount of Mden 30,674,272, Carovska, Bertolini, and Ilijev talked about improving Kochani infrastructure to support both local tourism and living conditions.
As MIA reported previously, 61 projects received grants as part of the EU-funded Local and Regional Competitiveness Project aiming to boost North Macedonia’s tourism.
“Of them,” Carovska’s PR team reiterates in the press release, “25 have been fully implemented and 36 are underway.” mr/
