Skopje, 11 June 2019 (MIA) – The Drisla landfill concession will be granted to a consortium of three companies—from Germany, Croatia, and North Macedonia—following a ruling of the Higher Administrative Court, the City of Skopje Council decided on Tuesday.
The business partnership that is to take over managing the landfill is led by Scholz AG from Germany and includes C.I.O.S.d.o.o. from Croatia and Splendor Mak from North Macedonia.
This provides an opportunity to begin a process of investing in Drisla to modernize it and introduce international waste management standards, the release reads. mr/17:37
